Saturday, November 7 2009 - Mt. Panorama Bathurst, New South Wales

The inaugural ORA HistorX championship was today decided on the legendary slopes of Mt. Panorama, Bathurst, New South Wales.

With the expectation that the series champion would come from the variety of Ford Mustang V8s in the field, it was series wild card Donsta, of WMS Racing, whose consistency throughout the nine rounds saw him hold aloft the champions garland.

In a varied field comprising Mustangs, Jaguar MkIIs, Lotus Cortinas, and Austin Minis, it was the V8 powered Falcon Sprint of the crazy man of WMS Racing that shone through, after team mechanic lionel ensured a perfectly running race car for the season.

However, in addition to the series win WMS Racing dominated the championship podium, with Old Frt and Adsta filling second and third, and a championship sixth position for Butakup, demonstrating the dominance of WMS, in the placings, throughout the season.
