Formerly known as 'Mad Dog Racing', Online Racing Australia is just one of many communities that take part in online racing, via a racing simulation titled 'rFactor'.

MDR became ORA on July 18, 2009, but was originally launched in 2008 by an avid online racer going by the pseudonym of 'Quasi'. ORA is simply an evolution of the previous team based website, evolving into a full blown online racing community in order to give the website and forum a more central identity.

ORA hosts online racing series in a variety of rFactor mods (types of motorsport), though it may be possible to catch one of our team cars, or members, at one of the other online racing communities around the world. The variety of rFactor mods on our own online server, with series and one off events, include V8 Supercars, Formula Nippon, Touring Car Legends, Historic GT & Touring Cars, and other mods from time to time.

This site, as progress continues, will display screenshots of the team cars on track (so to speak), desktop wallpapers, screensavers for Windows PCs, links to our favourite sites, info on team drivers, and the progression of not only our drivers but the community through the involvement of the online racers that visit, and race, from a wide selection of other communities. We are also very pleased to have an association with Arnall Trophies, Aussie Web Radio and Aussie Race Servers,  who sponsor and support our activities.
