The general
feeling around Mad Dog Racing's team headquarters on the
Australian Gold Coast is a very positive one after promising
performances across two separate V8Factor series in the past two
weeks. The results
began to flow when Quasi began a single car entry in the ADF-Team
V8Factor series at Monza, in Italy, managing 14th overall in
the two-race opening round. Two weeks later Quasi lined up on
the grid for round 2, at Adelaide, Australia, and after running
inside the top 10 crossed the line in 12th position for the 40
lap event, rising to 12th in that series.
Meanwhile, the five car MDR
team of Triggerfish, Maxcat, Richo1, DLegend, and MDR-Quasi,
again hit the streets of Adelaide for round 1 of the Ausfactor
V8Factor season.
In a field of 55 cars final
round results saw Triggerfish 11th, Richo1 23rd, DLegend 25th,
Quasi 33rd, and Maxcat 36th outright, after surviving what
turned out to be an expensive round for many teams, with
enthusiasm high across the entire field to finish as strongly as
possible.
Round two of both the ADF-Team
and Ausfactor championships now moves onto Melbourne's Albert
Park gran prix circuit over the next two weeks, and all team
drivers are confident of placing well enough to continue the
points race. |
